Excellent performances from Ralph Fiennes and Carey Mulligan, this is an excellent movie, well paced, beautifully shot, and I loved the note at the end. Bravo Basil. 8.5/10.0

Gerard Butler and Morena Baccarin (who will forever be Inara Serra in my mind) turn in good performances in this action-romp. When I first saw this listed on Netflix I thought it was a new film, but alas no. Turns out I’d seen it before, back in 2010. Still, great performances, good casting and writing, a few laughs. Bill Nighy and Emily Blunt, what’s not to like? Overall, not bad at all. 7.0/10.0

I enjoyed this a lot. A great piece of cinema, great cast, performances, and what an interesting score. Is the storyline great, meh, not so much. There are massive plot holes that make the story implausible, but the emotional journey still resonates. George Clooney directed and starred, and he was fantastic at both. 8.0/10.0

Amy Schumer and Goldie Hawn both deliver good performances here, and while this film is not at the level of Trainwreck or I Feel Pretty, I enjoyed it. A solid and funny 7.0/10.0

A feel-good film, a little bittersweet, but I enjoyed it. Emilia Clarke is great, as is Henry Golding. Ignore the other reviews, and give this a go. You won’t regret it. 8.0/10.0
