Film Review: Anna

AnnaOkay, a fun film oddly cast, with a mis-match of talent.

Sasha Luss’s performance (really great at action, not so great at dialogue or expression) is put firmly into shadow by her highly skilled peers, Luke Evans and Cillian Murphy.

And Helen Mirren? What on earth was she doing in this movie? Helen Mirren is awesome, a giant of the industry, so why this? It’s not like the part was a stretch, and it wasn’t even that well written?

That said, this film was fun, but it’s not La Femme Nikita or The Assassin (Point of No Return).

I give this film 6.5/10.0
