Film Review: The Favourite

I thoroughly enjoyed this film.

It feels like a madcap art-house movie, every character is a caricature, every scene odd in some way, unsettling cinematography, and absolutely fantastic performances.

Olivia Coleman absolutely deserved the awards she received for this film, and it’s just a shame that Emma Stone and Rachel Weisz weren’t similarly recognised.

I give this film 9.0/10.0.
