For a fan of Downton Abbey this was more of the same: funny, warm, full of intrigue, fantastic characters and dialog, I loved it. Please give us more: 8.5/10.0

Great fun, firmly in the Raiders of the Lost Ark model, hopefully there will be a sequel. A well-deserved 7.5/10.0

Ryan Reynolds and a great supporting cast (Jennifer Garner, Zoe Saladana, Mark Ruffalo, Catherine Keener and Braxton Bjerken) deliver a funny, heartwarming story with many home truths and points of reflection that I think we can all learn from. I loved it. 8.0/10.0

This is a weird hybrid of a “modern” love film and a Mexican telenovella. Made in Mexico, it features Sam Clafin as the uptight Englsh author, and Verónica Echegui as his Mexican translator and co-author. Clafin’s character, Henry, is generally unlikeable, and exploits Maria in a self absorbed, narcissistic way throughout the film. Maria is too good for him, too...

Much better than I thought it would be, even with Stana Katic’s terrible English accent. Decent acting, well written, based on a true story. Those young people were so brave, it’s hard to imagine what they went through. A sobering 8.0/10.0

Really good prequel, great fun, spot on casting and pacing. All sequels / prequels should be this good. A cracking 8.0/10.0
