Film Review: Animal House

I first watched this film the mid-1980s.

Teenager-me thought it was really funny, and I watched it again with a certain nervousness to see if it had aged well, and if it was still funny.

The good news is I think it has!

It is definitely of its time: misogynistic, questionable racial sterotypes etc., but there is a kindness and simplicity to the humour that is still funny today.

Would have been higher if it wasn’t so out of date in places.
